Which states have the lowest average hourly wage earners in the US?

The United States has some of the highest hourly wage rates in the world, with the average hourly earnings for hourly workers at the US Postal Service topping $13.77 per hour, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) on Monday.

The average hourly pay for a person working in the postal service was $15.84 in April, up from $14.10 in April 2016, the Bureau reported.

That means that, on average, the postal workers in the United States earn an average of $16.40 per hour.

The postal service is also the largest employer of workers in New York City, according the BLS.
